I love making joy fold cards, and the train stamp from The Greatest Adventure was the perfect size. Speaking of that stamp; isn’t that image amazing? This is one of our distinctive stamps. I cannot believe how much detail we can get from a single stamp! I stamped the train in Blueberry Bushel and added the Blueberry bushel paper from the Regals Designer Series paper collection. I think it came together to create a masculine card that will work for so many occasions.

This one is going to be a thinking of you card.

Blog Hop Card Inspiration Father's Day Masculine

Happy Technique Tuesday! This time our theme is vintage! I decided to feature our Take to the Sky paper with it’s vintage planes and images. You will love all the inspiration on this hop! There is a list at the end oft this post so you can see all the fabulous creations and leave some love!

I just love the Take to the Sky papers. created an easel card using Smoky Slate and some papers from the set. The easel is created by folding the front of the base in half again. The card then folds to make the image “stand up.”

For the focal image, I chose a 3X4 image from the cut apart sheet. The base image on the front is actually the back side of the same cut apart sheet! I used a stamp from Adventurous Sky and Copper Clay Ink. I used a Copper Clay Stamp n’ Write Marker to color around the edge to pop the sentiment a little and then set it on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, I added some Industrial Trinkets using mini glue dots.

The card is held up by another image from the set. I stamped the largest plane in Mossy Meadow and used the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to cut out the image which I also popped up on dimensionals.

When the card is open the sentiment is visible. I used another image from the stamp set and Smoky Slate Ink. The plane is stamped in second generation (I scrapped once on scrap paper then stamped on the page without re-inking).

Blog Hop Card Inspiration Father's Day Masculine

I love the Crafty Collaborations Blog hops. This one was an Instagram Hop – check it out here featuring Mossy Meadows monochromatic cards. I decided to use a sheet from Take to the Sky and a shaker for the focal point of this fun card.

This card was really fun to make. I used a half sheet of Mossy meadow (folded in half) for the card.

The white piece on the front has a large circle cut (for the shaker) and is embossed with the Metal Plate Embossing Folder.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach this white part around the shaker. The shaker includes sequins from my stash and window sheet (die cut into a circle) for the top. I also added a scrap of Mossy Meadow, to cover the edge of the shaker. The Take Your Pick Tool makes it so much easier to pick up sequins! I don’t know how I ever crafted without this thing!

I stamped the plane and sentiment from Adventurous Sky in Mossy Meadow ink and die cut them. The circle for Happiest Father’s Day is from the Unbounded Love dies. These dies have a ton of fun shapes that will work with so many sentiments!

Finally, I used mini glue dots to attach a few Industrial Trinkets.

The inside of the card features another stamp from the same set. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and then added the plane using second generation stamping with Mossy Meadows. I inked the image, stamped it on scratch paper, then stamped it on the card without re-inking to get a lighter image.

Card Inspiration Masculine

This card was inspired by Craft Roulette. This is a fun challenge where the host spins a wheel to get very random parameters to use in the crafting. This one was blue, green, and 2 more colors, use a tag, random stamped background, and best friends. Best friends made me think of our beautiful December Stamp of the month, and I decided the fox and bird could be best friends.

I used the Four Seasons Winter Paper pack and added scarlet and glacier cardstocks. The tag is actually the Stitched Fancy Brackets Thin Cuts, which I hole punched and tied glacier twine through. I used Glacier ink and the snowflake from last month’s Christmas Snowflake Mandala stamp of the month for the background on the white part of the tag. I used the Forest Critters Stamp of the Month to stamp the fox on toffee with Paprika ink and the bird on glacier with glacier ink. Finally I fussy cut both images and arranged them onto the tag with the sentiment. The snowflake embellishments were from my stash.

Masculine Stamp of the Month

This stamp set is so much fun. I love creating with it. I made three fun-fold display card for December’s Stamp of the month kit. Remember you can get these cards precut and ready to stamp for FREE!

This card on a toffee base really shows off these fun stamps. It also stands so the recipient can display it. the sentiment and all stamps are from the December stamp of the month, Forest Critters. The bunny is stamped directly on the card, while the fox is stamped on toffee paper using Paprika ink. These stamps are so detailed, I decided I didn’t even need to color!

This card on a pine base gives a 3-D look. I stamped trees on the inside folds and added animals stamped on shortbread and fussy cut. The deer is stamped with shortbread, the bird with scarlet, and the fox with Paprika. The bird in front is stamped on scarlet with scarlet ink. The sentiment is stamped with Pine on the pine bridge piece.

This one might just be my favorite. I love the little line-up of animals. There are a bunch of cute ones to choose from on the stamp set, and this card provides enough room to include a few stamps. The leaves are stamped using a branch from the set and by masking over the stamped animals.

Card Inspiration Masculine

This card is inspired by the Double Trouble Challenge “Deja-BREW” (#125). I love playing with Double Trouble! Sometime I have trouble (at first) with their challenges, but I always end up with a fun card. This time I discovered that I do not have enough stamps. In my entire collection, I could not find a good coffee stamp! How could this be?! Clearly I need more stamps!

However, I couldn’t let a supply issue stop me, so off to my Cricut I went. I found the perfect cut (a coffee cup) which I was able to turn into a card. I think it turned out super cute!

I am entering this card into the Double Trouble Challenge and following Thing 2’s Double Dare to enter the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop. I also featured Only Two for Color Dare Challenge #522. Hope you can join me in both of these fun challenges!

This one was super fun to create. I used Honey butter for the card base and added the coffee holder and lid in glacier. These were the color Dare Challenge colors!

The stamping is all from the Christmas Snowflake Mandalas Stamp of the month. This stamp is awesome and only available this month! I stamped the smaller mandala with Honey Butter ink on Honey Butter cardstock then I stamped the image again with versamark ink so that I could add clear embossing powder. The result is a sparkly yellow snowflake!

Stamping Tip: use a stamp positioner (I used the misti) to line up the stamping perfectly.

I stamped the small snowflake with glacier on glacier paper and cut both out. I then popped them up with foam tape onto the card. Finally I added the sentiment with glacier ink and used clear embossing powder to add shimmer.

Card Club Masculine Thank You Thinking of You

We had so much fun creating together. I sent pre-cut kits to everyone so we could stamp and assemble together (in a virtual crop). It’s so much fun to create together!

Birthday Card Inspiration Father's Day Masculine

Several of the men in my family have summer birthdays, so I need some guy cards! I was inspired by the Cardz 4 Guys Challenge and decided to create a textured card to enter. Hope you will play along here

Here’s the card. It uses some Close to My Heart paper from my stash as well as an old embossing folder.

I had so much fun with this card, I decided create some more. I used the rest of the sheet of paper as well as some classic car stamps to make lots more cards.
