Card Inspiration Stamp of the Month Thank You

This card turned out so cute! I love that the easel card looks a bit fancy, but it’s still quick to put together. I just used a regular card base (8.5X5.5 folded in half) of Smoothie Cardstock. Then I made another score at 6 inches. This gave me two front “panels,” which will make the easel card work. I added pattern paper from Happiness lives here and matted it with Blue Belle Cardstock for each “panel” on the front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Every Thank You Stamp of the month on White Daisy Cardstock using Blue Belle Ink. I used the medium Stitched Bracket to cut the sentiment and the largest one to cut the mat from Smoothie. I then glued only the bottom half of the sentiment to the bottom part of the front. This will allow it to “pop up” when the card is opened as an easel.

Finally, since part of the inside of the card would be displayed, I had to decorate it too. I stamped the flowers from the Happiness Lives Here Cardmaking stamp along the bottom of a white card insert. I added a flower sticker, from the sticker sheet that comes in the Happiness Lives Here pack, to act as a “stopper” for my easel when it’s open. I used an embossing buddy to remove the stickiness from the sticker then popped it up with 3D Foam Tape.
