With All My Love Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Card Details

I love how this card turned out. This card happened because I decided I wanted to use my Ballerina Glitter Paper. I actually had a bit of Creator’s block and had no idea what to do from there. Fortunately Close to My Heart tools came to the rescue! I used our Love of Color book to find some colors that worked well with pink (I used the Ballerina page).

Stampin’ Tip: Close to My Heart offers so many inspiration and idea books.You can use the catalogs, pictures and ideas in the Love of Color books, or our Make it from the Heart Pattern books. I am never without ideas for very long!!

Once I had some ideas for colors, I went to my collection of scraps and decided to add Carolina and a Pewter base and layer. I used the All My Love Stamp of the Month to stamp the flower in Carolina and the sentiment in Pewter on a piece of French vanilla Cardstock. Finally I colored in the flower with a True Blue Blends marker (Medium and light) and stamped the heart border from Lovely borders in Carollina on a scrap of Carolina Cardstock and used the included thin cut to cut it out.
