Blue Belle Holiday Card

This card was inspired by the Heart 2 Heart Challenge. I really want to complete all of the challenges for this month! Unfortunately, I do not have Blue Belle ink yet. After seeing all the lovely creations I have ordered it, but I will not receive it in time for this challenge! This means I had to get creative with my Blue Belle Paper. Since I new I wanted Blue Belle to be my focus color, I opened up my trusty Love of Color binder to find some colors to coordinate. As an added bonus there was a great 3X3 card idea on the same page that worked perfect for the design for my card!

I am entering this card into the Heart 2 Heart Blue Belle Challenge. I hope you can play along with me!

Card Details

This was a fun card to make. I used Blue Belle Cardstock for the base (cut at 4 x 11 and folded at 5.5). I like to make this size so I can get three cards from our cardstock. Our cardstock is also fabulous for cards because it has a lighter side that’s perfect for writing inside the card!

The rest of the card is made by layering nested squares of Pebble, Evergreen, and Blue Belle (lighter side showing this time). I used the large and medium Stitched Brackets to cut Blue Belle and Pebble. The sentiment, You Warm my Heart, is from the November Stamp of the month stamped in Pebble Ink on the light side of the Pebble Cardstock. Finally, I added snowflakes from the November Stamp of the Month to the bottom of the card. The Green dots, are Bitty Sparkles that I colored with the Jade Green Shades Tri Blend Marker.

I hope you like the card and feel inspired to create.

Happy Stamping,
