Christmas in July Featuring Holly and Ivy

Card challenges are great for inspiration! I was inspired by the Double Trouble Challenge to create a Christmas Card in July. I also accepted Thing Three’s Challenge to add Stars and Stripes. The stars are in the top corner and a few banners have stripes. I also took the Double Dare to enter in the Jingle Belles Challenge. Finally I used the sketch at Atlantic Hearts for the card layout.

This was one of my favorite paperpacks and the deer stamp. Love the use of all the patterns, including a stripe, on your banners and love the fawn spots in the Toffee on the bottom is a fave. Nice interpretation of the AHSC. I often use sketch challenges to get me started. Stephani, thanks for sharing your beautiful card with us at Double Trouble and Jingle Belles.

Stefanie, what a wonderful way to use all those precious holiday paper scraps! I noticed that you even used one of the stripes from one of those papers to create a horizontal element to really give your card a finished look!!! You met all THREE of our challenge elements!!! Thank you so much for sharing your card and creativity with us at Double Trouble for our “Christmas in July” challenge. -Donna
