Strawberry Summer Thinking of You Card
This card was inspired by the Double Trouble Challenge.I also followed Thing Two’s Advice and joined the Sketch challenge at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday. Hope you can come play too!
So, this card has a bit of a story. The third part of the challenge was especially difficult. Thing 3 wanted us to use strawberries. I went through my whole stash (stamps and paper) and not a single strawberry. Then I remembered a summer special pack that had fruits. After much searching, I finally found it, and it had strawberry paper! Hording craft supplies saves the day! Now that I have this card, I’m really excited and I can’t wait to send it to a special relative who collects strawberry things 🙂
Card Details
This sweet card really feels like summer! I used the fabulous an old pack called Taste of Summer for all the papers and attached them to a kraft card base. Using Kraft was the first part of the challenge!. The birthday sentiment is from an old stamp called birthday sparkles, but any stamp would work here. I used our basic circles and stitched circles to cut out the pink mat and the white base for the sentiment. I also couldn’t find any matching embellishments, so I used a small stitched circle to cut two strawberries out of the pattern paper. I popped them onto the card with 3D Foam tape.
