Sweet as Honey Thank You

When I saw this beautiful stamp from the Sweet As Honey collection, I knew I had to do the Triple Stamp Technique. I had only used it for random stamping in the past, but it worked really well with this large image.

I added a bit of color to the edges by sponging the Marmalade Distress Oxide. I’m entering this card in the Heart 2 Heart “Sponge It” Challenge. I hope you will join me!

Card Details

I love how this turned out. It looks so much more difficult than it is!

Stamping Tip: To get the three layers, cut three white pieces in decreasing sizes, and use a small dot of glue on each layer to temporarily hold them together. You can then stamp the image on all pieces at the same time. There will be a bit of white space on the edges, but it will be covered by each mat.

After stamping, gently separate the layers and add a thin mat to each one. You can now attach them all together – be sure to line up the image!

I used the Sweet as Honey Cardmaking Stamp set, charcoal paper, and Spiced Marmalade Distressed Oxide (for the edge of the card and a few of the sunflowers.

I hope you like the card and feel inspired to create.

Happy Stamping,
