Card Details

I love how this cheerful spring card turned out. First, I used random stamping on the white page to stamp images from the So Sweet April stamp of the month. I used Sage, Glacier, and Thistle inks.

Stampin’ Tip: Random stamping allows you to create your own backgrounds. It is easiest to start with the biggest image you plan to use and stamp it three times in a kind of triangular shape. Be sure to turn your images and allow some to go off the page so it looks random. Next, stamp another image into some of the white space. Again, be sure to turn your stamps. Finally, use your smallest stamp to fill any extra white space.

I also used masking to add the leaves to the flowers. Finally, I used a sponge dauber with Thistle ink to stamp the centers of the large flowers.

I attached this white card to the glacier base along with the strip of Zoe pattern paper. It is easiest to add ribbon BEFORE gluing the pattern paper down so that you can attach the ribbon with glue dots to the back of the cad. Finally I stamped So Sweet in Thistle ink, and used a 1 inch circle punch to cut it out. I added this circle to the card with 3D Foam Tape.
